Shots Fired at House - Arrests Made

On Wednesday May 7th 2008 Martinsburg Police officers D. English and Det. Cpl. S. Doyle arrested two subjects on outstanding warrants in connection with a shooting incident which occurred at 4:17 AM May 3rd 2008 at 121 N. Spring Street Martinsburg WV.

The investigation revealed that the residence and residents were shot at by individuals outside of the house. The house was struck on the outside exterior and door frame. No one was struck by the shots. Eight empty shell casings were located at the scene. The suspects then fled on foot from the residence.

The investigation later produced two suspects and warrants were secured for their arrest from a State Magistrate.

Arrested:

Brandon Lee Spaur DOB 10/23/86 listing an address of 627 North Third Street Martinsburg WV.
He was charged with Conspiracy to Commit Wanton Endangerment. He was processed at the Martinsburg Police Department and then taken to the Eastern Regional Jail to await arraignment.

Matthew Quinn Mason aka “Q” DOB 07/24/87 listing an address of 65 Bowie Drive Falling Waters WV. This subject was currently incarcerated in the Eastern Regional Jail on unrelated charges and the warrants were served upon him while he was incarcerated.
He was charged with Wanton Endangerment and Conspiracy to Commit Wanton Endangerment. He would have been arraigned while he was incarcerated.
