On Friday, November 27, 2009, at 0301hrs., officers from the Martinsburg Police Department responded to 306 Wilson Street, the Red Cafe bar, for a shooting. Upon arrival, officers were able to locate multiple subjects outside of the bar, two of which had suffered gunshot wounds to lower extremities, including foot and leg. Both subjects were transported to City Hospital for treatment.

Corporal Polinik of the Martinsburg Police Department initially responded on scene and observed a black male standing in the parking lot with a firearm in his waist band. It was advised by Cpl.
