Robbery

On Friday, May 15, 2009 at approximately 1:45 a.m. the Martinsburg Police Department received a report of an Armed Robbery at the 7-Eleven located at 201 Winchester Avenue. The investigation revealed that an unidentified white male entered the business and demanded money from a clerk. A weapon was not brandished, but the suspect made a gesture with his hand as if he had one. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash from the business the suspect fled the scene by stealing a 2002 Mitsubishi Galant registered to the 7-Eleven clerk. The vehicle was subsequently located unattended in the 500 block of West Race Street. The suspect has not been apprehended and remains unidentified. He is described as being approximately 5’10” with light brown shoulder length wavy hair and wearing a black bandana, a black hooded jacket and camouflage pants. The suspect had no facial hair.
